Book One: Faith, Freedom, and Posterity Series
When anthropology professor Oneida Graham is summoned home to Hopewell, her estranged and dying grandmother entangles her in a Michigan Relic mystery, which is possibly the reason someone murdered her Grandfather Graham fifty years ago. Before the woman dies, Gran dubs Neida The Awaited One and pleads that she fulfill the prophecy and return the relic before it’s too late.
Neida pairs up with archaeologist Lance Graham, a long-separated cousin of sorts, connected through her grandmother’s marriage. When the duo discovers pertinent clues in Hopewell’s library and in Gran’s old journals, they embark on a frantic hunt to find the treasure and the person responsible for their grandfather’s demise. But they are running out of time. The diabolical forces at play just might beat them to the target and destroy the treasured secrets for good.
Will Neida learn in time the key to her pragmatic heart and embrace the love she desperately needs? Will she and Lance uncover the vestiges of the past and understand just what they mean to the rest of the world? Only her last unthinkable discovery will tell the ultimate tale.

Reedsy Discovery
Not since I read the John Steinbeck classic The Grapes of Wrath do I remember a book that brought to life the many struggles of farmers in California, as well as refugees from the Dust Bowl who migrated to California in search of a new life. Perhaps someone who picks up this book will also stay up until 3:30 AM reading it. Believe me, it's worth it.
