Some Insights into the author
Peggy Ann Shumway has always been enthralled by the individuals, stories, and mysteries of the past, which have led her to years of historical and archeological study and exploration. She loves family history and has compiled several genealogical works for herself and others. She holds a Bachelor's degree in multimedia, which she uses in book cover design and video production, and she often blogs about writing. Her archeological / mystery suspense debut, Vestiges, allowed her to delve into the Hopewell civilization and the controversial Michigan Relics, and it combines her love of history with that of her passion for world-building. Peggy lives amid the rustic background of Arizona.
History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it.
Gripping, meticulously researched, and twisty... A page-turner. Shumway's debut installment in the Faith, Freedom, and Posterity Series is as engrossing as it is thought-provoking. ~The Prairies Book Review

“Interesting, exciting, well written. I was drawn into the mystery on the first page and intrigued until the very end. And I never saw the end coming! Vestiges is a good read..”
~ Julie Fenn Smith - Beta Reader
Age-old secrets and conspiracies have never been written with such simplicity and grace. Vestiges is a novel that you will find hard to put down for its consciousness of history, religion, and legacy, as well as its pursuit of truth and ownership.
